What a year it's been! One year after losing all my jobs and moving out of Los Angeles I'm now moving to Joshua Tree in an airstream with my partner! Here's to a new chapter. Hahaha.
Class Focus: It's Spring, it's subscriber Suzi Stein's bday & it's the beginning of our arm balance challenge. This time of year is a blank canvas for us to rebirth and begin again. I encourage you to paint in a new way, scribble outside the lines and be robust enough to not crack when pressure feels tight (like attempting arm balances). Mudra mashup to begin: we toss eagle arms, haikini's, garuda hands and more in the beginning to warm up the legs and side body. Warrior 1's morph to devotionals to sweeping forward folds that turn into Warrior 2's. Lots of core to keep us strong including a bunch of side vashi's forearm planks, navasana, and wild thing hip dips. We use all this magic to attempt some funky arm balances and pincha mayurasana in the middle of mat. Just go with it.
