Dharma Theme: As living beings experiencing life, we are filled with thoughts and emotions that we need to process. Oftentimes, our self-development can seem confrontational because we need to examine these things and learn how to heal them. But the beautiful thing about mindful movement is that we can release these feelings by simply breathing and moving.
Physical Body: Creative leg and core sequences in the beginning help to create engagement and tone in the obliques, rectus abdominals, and side body. Couple this with strong one handed plank variations that morph into vashistasanas to strengthen side body. Work the core in a multitude of ways including a fun navasana (boat) to plank pose. And fully embody your practice with a unique standing series that morphs Warrior 1's to Warrior 3's and double Warrior 2's for some fancy flare. Oh, did I mention handstand hop switches for even more cardio? Have fun and release those thoughts!
Peak Pose: Handstand scorpion variations at the wall
Turn signal: one legged crow
